To fulfill God's invitation: " For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me..." (Mt 25, 31-38), the Social Charity Department - Caritas Da Lat cooperates with the program "Loving rice grain" of the Vinh Tuyet and     Ngu Quynh’s families, as well as Da Lat’s Diocese in sharing their love to the disadvantaged families in the diocese.

The diocese program has been around since 2004. Since 2015, Vinh Tuyet's family has started supporting the diocese and the number of beneficiaries has increased. In 2021, the program gives out 555 gifts per month.

Beneficiaries include the elderly who are alone and helpless, the sick, the disabilities those who are unable to support themselves, regardless of age, religion and visiting the families who are living in the surrounding area of the parish.

With gratitude to God and to Vinh Tuyet's family and benefactors for their generosity in sharing not only material good but also the spiritual gifts to those who are living in the difficult circumstances in Da Lat’s Diocese. May the spirit of Christian love and charity be spread to all members of the church and society so that the goods can be shared and supported among the needy.
